Thank you Kansas City for making AIDS WALK 2009 a huge success! We are thrilled to announce that over 3,500 Walkers, Sponsors and Donors raised over $400,000! What an incredible show of compassion and generosity. On behalf of those living with HIV/AIDS in our hometown as well as those organizations that serve these heroes, "Thank You"!

AIDS WALK and Team Jerryz Kidz to hold raffle! - April 20, 2009

AIDS WALK Kansas City and Team Jerryz Kidz are co-hosting a raffle on Walk day in memory or our dear friend Jerry Cahill. Items in the raffle include a 26" Plasma TV ; a weekend on the Plaza at the Hampton Inn with dinner ; and a MP3 Player with a year of NAPSTER TO GO!

AIDS WALK goes to India! - April 12, 2009

Team AKKA USA Captain Erin Goodyear is set to walk on April 25th with a group of friends in India to raise awareness adn fight the global HIV/AIDS epidemic. Erin will document her travels with photographs and video segments at aidswalkkc.blogspot.com.

Fundraising Summit a Success! - March 19, 2009

The third annual fundraising summit was a huge success! Over 30 AIDS WALK Team Captains, Team Members and Individual Walkers attended the Summit on March 18th to learn fun, creative and effective fundraising techniques and ideas on how they can increase their overal fundraising efforts for AIDS WALK 2009. Special thanks to Nancy Harrington, Dr. Bob Buchanan and Ryan Gove for sharing their knowledge and personal experiences with the group!

AIDS WALK Open sees double in 2009! - February 16, 2009

The 2009 AIDS WALK Open Committee is thrilled to announce that a SECOND route has been added! Participants now have a choice of route--a Midtown Route and a Downtown Route.
